SWADE Dispensary Cherokee
SWADE Cannabis is a state-licensed dispensary on Cherokee Street, serving both medical patients and adult recreational customers under Missouri’s retail licence.
Missouri legalised medical cannabis in 2018 and adult use in 2022, and SWADE is one of the larger operators to emerge from that – part of a chain with several locations around the region, of which this is the Cherokee Street branch. The shop is a walk-in storefront open seven days a week, with an ATM on site, and it is set up for people who know exactly what they want as well as for those who have never bought cannabis legally before and would like it explained.
The stock covers the usual range – flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, vapes and topicals – across a rotating list of producers. Regular customers can join the shop’s Passport scheme, which collects a stamp for each new strain tried and turns them into discounts, merchandise and free product.
SWADE stands at 2316 Cherokee Street, in the middle of Cherokee Antique Row among the antique and vintage dealers. Visitors should bring photo identification, and note that cannabis bought in Missouri may not be carried across state lines – including into Illinois, a few minutes away over the river.
