Sweet 16 on Cherokee Street: Celebrating a milestone of STyLe!
STL-style
We opened our humble shop at the corner of Cherokee & Compton back in 2010, and it is thanks to your unwavering support that we’re still here sixteen years later. Naturally, an occasion like this calls for a proper celebration. Save the date: September 19 will be dedicated to honoring STL-Style’s 16 years on Cherokee Street, as we join forces with our neighbors and a lineup of special guests to host a block party for the ages.
Highlights confirmed so far include:
- Balkan Treat Box food truck
- DJ Alexis Tucci on the turntables
- A Q&A session and retrospective on STL-Style’s history, hosted with Amanda Doyle
- A live performance by Suzie Cue, singer-songwriter and original Stylehouse member
- STL-themed mini-golf, curated by Rusty Conklin
- A sidewalk chalk art showcase led by Maura Pusateri
- Event videography by Bill Streeter
In addition, guests can look forward to giveaways, limited-edition merchandise, special deals, impromptu fashion shows, and surprise appearances throughout the day. Our neighboring businesses — Assassin Vintage, Fifteen Windows Gallery, Flowers & Weeds, Tenth Life, and My Marie — will also be hosting their own festivities in celebration of the occasion.
Further details and additional guests will be announced soon. Wear your favorite STL-Style tee (the older, the better) and join us in marking this milestone together.
